I come from a small rural area of the UK, unfortunately no big exciting cities like London! Outside of teaching, in my free time I enjoy bouldering (a type of rock climbing), hiking, and then at home, a mix of movies and video games. The reason I began teaching English is because all of my friends are from other countries, so my whole life I’ve been communicating with foreign speakers; helping people with English feels natural to me.

Teaching is my full-time job, and has been for several years now. It’s not a “side job”, my students have my full attention every day of the week. Around the end of 2023, I completed my CELTA qualification, and immediately teaching, shortly followed by joining a school in Italy, where I gained experience preparing students for exams.

After some time, I left the school and began running my own teaching business online, and have had the pleasure of teaching many amazing students. I’m always looking to improve myself and my understanding of exams, so I take part in online teaching webinars to grow further, and I actively practice the exams myself. To end my story, I can now very proudly say that at least 90% of my students who follow my advice achieve their target grades or better!
